  1. Facial Expressions: The most impressive movement in body language is facial movements. It expresses many emotions even though no words are spoken. Facial expressions such as sadness, anger, happiness, fear, surprise, disgust are universal and have the same form of expression among cultures.
  2. Tone: The way you say it is more important than the word you say. Your tone and speed of speech express your feelings. One can feel sarcastic, love, trust or anger from the tone of the person. His words are very beautiful, but they are spoken in a cynical manner. The said word is offensive but it is evident that he is reluctantly said with sorrow.
  3. Eye Contact: When talking, people usually make eye contact, and the message is transmitted with the best eyes. Eyes, the most important symbol of nonverbal communication, are the mirror of the heart. Many messages such as love, care and hostility are hidden in the form of looking at a person. Eye contact is important to maintain the flow of speech.
  4. Body Movements: The way people sit, stand up, walk, move their body is the richest source of communication in the world.

  3. Icon: different from sign and indicator. It is the way a person perceives the world. Every culture has its own symbol. Symbols are specific to cultures and have different meanings. The icons are made up of grouped objects. Wedding rings are the symbol of marriage.

Types of Verbal Communication 

Verbal communication is externally directed speech, which in turn is divided into written and oral and internally directed speech.

Oral speech can be a dialogue or a monologue. Internal speech is manifested in the preparation for oral conversation or, in particular, in writing.

Written speech is immediate and delayed. Direct speech occurs when exchanging notes, for example, at meetings or lectures, and delayed - when exchanging letters, when it can take quite a long time for you to receive an answer. Written communication terms are strictly mediated by the text. 

Feedback affects the accuracy of the person's understanding, perceiving the information, the meaning of the speaker's statements.

Feedback is established only on the condition that the communicator and recipient switch between locations.

The task of the recipient is to make the communicator understand how he or she has understood the meaning of the information through his or her statements.

It follows that dialogue speech is a consistent change in the roles of communicative interaction of conversation in the process of discovering the meaning of speech.

Monologue speech, on the contrary, can last a long time without interrupting other conversations. Prior preparation of the speaker is required. With monologue speech include lectures, reports, etc.

Important components of the communicative aspect of communication are the ability to accurately, clearly express one's thoughts and the ability to hear.

The conversation is a verbal exchange of thoughts, opinions, knowledge, information. Conversation (Conversation) involves the presence of two or more participants, whose task is to express their thoughts and thoughts on a particular topic in a relaxed atmosphere.

The participants in the conversation can ask each other questions to get acquainted with the position of the interlocutor or to clarify the incomprehensible points that emerged during the discussion.

The dispute is a public discussion or dispute on a socially important or scientific topic. Discussion is a public dispute, the result of which is the clarification and correlation of different views, attitudes, seeking and identifying the right opinion, finding the right solution to the issue. 

The dispute is a process of exchange of opposing views. That is, it signifies any clash of positions, disagreements in beliefs and attitudes, a kind of struggle in which each participant defends his or her own righteousness. 

Also, verbal communication is divided into verbal business communication and interpersonal. 

Interpersonal communication is performed between several individuals, the result of which is the emergence of psychological contact and a certain relationship between those who communicate. 

Verbal business communication is a complex multilateral process of developing contacts between people in the professional field. 

Characteristics of verbal communication 

The main feature of verbal communication is that this communication is strange only to man. Because of its communicative potential, it is good than all types of non-verbal communication. 

The formation of verbal communications must first rely on non-verbal means of communication. 

The main component of communication is the words that were taken independently. Verbal communication is the best way of translating thoughts. 

Any message built using a non-verbal system can be translated into human verbal language. For example, red light in a traffic signal can be translated as "travel is forbidden". 

The verbal aspect of communication has a complex structure on many levels and can act in different style variations: dialect, speech, and literary language, etc. 

Successful or unsuccessful implementation of the communication act is facilitated by all speech components or other features. 

A person in the process of communication from a wide range of different speech interaction tools selects those tools that seem most appropriate to formulate and express one's own thoughts in a given situation. 

This is called socially meaningful choice. Such a process is endless in its diversity.

Words in spoken communication interaction are not mere characters used to name objects or phenomena. 

In verbal communication whole verbal complexes, systems of ideas, religions, and myths characteristic of a particular society or culture are created and formed. 

The way the subject speaks can form a picture of another participant in the interaction about who the subject really is.

Choosing verbal tools contributes to the creation and understanding of certain social situations. For example, a compliment does not always show that the person looks good, it can simply be a kind of "communicative move". 

The effectiveness and efficiency of verbal interaction are largely due to the communicator's level of proficiency and personal qualitative characteristics.

Today, competence in speech is considered the most important component of an individual's professional accomplishment. 

Speech facilitates not only the movement of messages but also the interaction of the participants in the communication process, which in particular influence each other, direct, orient each other. In other words, they seek to achieve a certain transformation of behavior. 

Although speech is a universal instrument for communicative interaction, it only becomes meaningful when it is involved in an activity.

Speech must necessarily be supplemented by the use of non-verbal sign systems for the effectiveness of the interaction.

The communication process will be incomplete if you do not use non-verbal means.
